Description and Uses: An oil with astringent, antiseptic, and detoxifying properties, Juniper essential oil is said to exert a cleansing and calming effect on both the mind and body. Diluted in a bath or massage oil, Juniper can help relieve the pain of arthritis and rheumatism, and is said to aid in releasing fluid retention. Juniper essential oil is used in many masculine perfumes, after-shaves and colognes. Traditional use: astringent, skin detoxifier, deodorant, soothing agent

Cautions: Not for use during pregnancy, on children under the age of twelve. There are some reports that Juniper can overstimulate the kidneys, so it's best avoided by those suffering from kidney problems.
